Ciabatta Pizza

- Serves 4 People
Ingredients
- Lupo Bakery Ciabatta Bread
- Butter
- Tomato Pizza Sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Pepperoni
- Sliced Olives
- Fresh Rocket
- Salt and Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200˚C.
- Place a sheet of grease proof paper on a baking tray.
- Slice the Lupo Ciabatta Bread along the length of the bread into 2 halves.
- Butter each open side of the bread.
- Paint on a layer of Tomato pizza sauce as per your liking. Garlic or Chilli can be added on after this step.
- Handsomely sprinkle some Mozzarella Cheese on the sliced Ciabatta.
- Lay on the Pepperoni and Olives.
- Bake for 8 – 12 until cheese has melted and the base is crispy, add a few Rocket leaves.
- Finally, add some Coarse Salt and Black Pepper to taste, Bon Apetito!
Caprese Sandwich
- Total Time 15 Minutes
- Serves 4 People
Ingredients
- Lupo Bakery Ciabatta Bread
- Butter
- Mozzarella or Pavlone Cheese
- Sliced Round Tomato
- Basil Pesto
- Mint or Rocket Leaves
- Olive oil
- Salt and Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200˚C.
- Place a sheet of grease proof paper on a baking tray.
- Sprinkle some water on the Lupo Ciabatta Bread, and place on a baking tray in the oven for 3min to heat up and crispen.
- Then, slice the Lupo Ciabatta Bread along the length of the bread into 2 halves and then cut into half again to give 4 halves.
- Butter each open side of the sliced halves and paint on Basil Pesto as per your liking.
- Layer with Mozzarella or Pavlone Cheese and Slices of tomato. Alternate between cheese and tomato once or twice
- Drizzle on a little more Basil Pesto. Garnish with Rocket a sprinkle of Olive oil
- Add some course Black pepper and Salt to taste. Bon Apetito!
Ciabatta Open Sandwich
- Total Time 10 Minutes
Ingredients
- Lupo Bakery Ciabatta Bread
- Butter
- Hellmans Mayonnaise
- Butter Lettuce
- Mozzarella or Emmental Cheese Slices
- Tomato Slices
- Prosciutto Ham or Shaved Chicken or Turkey
- Salt and Black Pepper
- Rocket Leaves
Instructions
- Use Lupo’s White Ciabatta Bread
- Cut the loaf into even slices, 2 -3cm slices
- Spread Butter on one side of the bread and thereafter Mayonnaise on the same side
- Place 2 Lettuce leaves per slice.
- Cut the Square Mozzarella or Emmental Cheese slices diagonally to create 2 triangles of cheese.
- Place the Cheese slices on top of the Mayonnaise covering the surface area of the slice.
- Slice the Tomatoes on round circle and place on top of the cheese
- Add some Salt and Black Pepper to taste.
- Garnish with some Rocket leaves
Delectable Ciabatta Egg Toast
- Total Time 45 Minutes
- Serves 4 People
Ingredients
- Lupo Bakery Ciabatta Bread
- Butter
- 4 Large Eggs
- 250g Mascarpone Cheese
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
- 100g Fresh Berries (Raspberries, Blueberries)
- 20g Pomegranate
- 4/6 TBS Golden Honey
Instructions
- Use Lupo’s White Ciabatta Bread
- Cut the loaf into even slices, 2 -3cm slices
- Break the Eggs and beat the egg yolks, Add Salt to taste
- Dip each slice on both sides in the egg yolk mixture and fry on medium heat on a stove, following the French toast method. 4 French toast slices is 1 portion size.
- Prepare the Mascarpone cheese with 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence and 1 Tsp Sugar. More sugar can be added on taste preference.
- Whip the Mascarpone cheese with a hand mixer, to obtain a smooth emulsion.
- Spread the Mascarpone Cheese thickly on each slice, sandwiching each slice on top of each other as per photo.
- On the top slice, put a dollop of Mascarpone Cheese, Place a hand full of Berries and Pomegranate seeds on top.
- Pour 1 – 2 TBS Honey over the Mascarpone Cheese.
- Additional Honey or Chocolate sauce and Sprinkles may be added.
